After several days and two rounds of voting Miranda’s has been bestowed the honor of ‘Best Pizza in Southbury’ by hundreds of Patch users.

Miranda’s beat out Julio’s with 68 percent of the vote in the final showdown. Miranda’s also surpassed Mia Sophia, Southford Pizza, Jordan’s, DiPalma’s and Mad Greek in the initial round of voting.

This was the first of a new game that Southbury Patch is kicking off: Who has the best (blank) in town?

In this column, we’re looking for your help to highlight the best places for food in town. We’re looking for the best burgers, wings, ice cream, etc. This week’s food fight was pizza, but there will be plenty more to come.
