Southbury Announces Republican Primary Details [POLL]

Republicans can cast votes for U.S. Senate and 5th Congressional District candidates later this summer.

Details regarding the Southbury Republican primary for nominations to state and district offices have been released by the Office of the Secretary of the State.

According to the office, the town was granted permission to hold a Republican primary on Tuesday, August 14.

Voting will take place at resident’s designated polling places at the Center Firehouse, Southbury Public Library or the Southbury Community Building. Absentee ballots will also be available at the Southbury Town Clerk’s Office.

Linda E. McMahon - 14 Hurlingham Drive, Greenwich, CT

Christopher Shays - 350 Grovers Avenue, Apt. 11-A, Bridgeport, CT

Republican 5th Congressional District Candidates

Andrew Roraback - 455 Milton Road, Goshen CT

Justin Bernier - 180 West Main Street, Plainville, CT

Lisa Wilson Foley - 76 Hartford Road, Simsbury, CT

Mark Greenberg - 184 Fern Avenue, Litchfield, CT

In the last town primary, a Republican Presidential primary in April, 13 percent of registered Southbury Republicans cast a ballot.
