Tribury Rotary Club Holds Valentine’s Day Car Raffle
Event with Silent Auction to be held at the Heritage Hotel.

The Tribury Rotary Club Foundation, Inc. is holding its major fundraiser to support local fuel banks, scholarships and the Tribury Rotary Club Foundation projects in the three communities that comprise its membership area, Woodbury, Southbury and Middlebury.
The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Heritage Room in the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, and will feature a drawing for the winning raffle ticket for the 2012 Audi 5 and a Silent Auction. Raffle tickets for the Audi may be purchased up until the drawing takes place.
The winning ticket will be drawn at 6 p.m.
State Senator Rob Kane, R-32, who represents all three towns of the Tribury Rotary Club, will pick the winning car raffle ticket.
There will be a cash bar with the first 50 attendees receiving one free beverage of their choice. Hors d’oeuvres will include mini-burgers, vegetable spring rolls, cheese and spinach crustini and fruit with chocolate.
The silent auction has many valuable items that include, but are not limited to:
- Hot air balloon rides
- Paintings
- Jewelry
- Floral bouquets
- Meals at great restaurants
- Financial & Business Services
- Brunch for Twelve delivered to your home
- Ladies Luncheon for Eight delivered and served
- Dinner for Four delivered to your home each week in the month of March
- Catered Graduation Party for 50 in June
- Pamper Yourself / Items include blanket, slippers, champagne, book, Chicken Noodle Soup, etc.
There is no charge for admission to the event and members of the communities are encouraged to attend. Of course, all Rotarians are encouraged to attend with spouse, friends and raffle ticket holders.

From the Tribury Rotary website: "To purchase tickets, please send a check payable to the Tribury Rotary Club Foundation to: Tribury Rotary Club, P.O. Box 956 Southbury, CT 06488. Please include your name, address, and phone number. Ticket sales are limited to only 1,000 - once they're gone, there will be no further sales. The winner does not need to be present to win."

For all of those interested in buying a ticket, the cost is $100 per ticket. Please remember when you buy a ticket, you are also helping charities....so try it. You may just win this car....!!
