Southbury Hurricane Relief Drive

Residents of Southbury in collaboration with the Southbury Women's Club are working together to provide items for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. 

The Southbury Social Services office, 561 Main Street South, Southbury, will be collecting the following items starting November 19th through November 30th. 

A member of the FDNY will be delivering the goods to areas currently in the greatest of need.

Batteries (especially C and D)

Gallon Ziplocks

Heavy duty work gloves

Diaper rash ointment 

Duct tape

Thank you for that advertisement cloaked in concern. Staples reward program stinks and is loadedRead More with loopholes. Further, their prices are already 10-20% higher than discount retailers, so the measly 5% discount is ridiculous. I live 2 miles from the Southbury Staples, but drive to Danbury Walmart or dollar stores to purchase items for my classroom.
