Got Boots? Take a Hike!

Join the Roxbury Conservation Commission on a slow-paced, one-way hike along the Seth Warner Trail to celebrate Connecticut Trails Day. We will stop to observe late spring wildflowers, birds, and other wildlife along the beautiful Shepaug River. There are some moderate hills. Less ambitious participants can opt out at 1+ mile point when we reach the River Road Preserve parking lot.  The hike (approximately 5.5 miles) concludes at the Roxbury Falls parking lot on Minor Bridge Road. Return rides to our starting point will be available.
