Hypocritical Republicans Violate Zoning Regulations

On 9/26/2013 Zoning Officer Mark Massoud sent a letter to the Republican and Democratic campaigns/town committees regarding sign rules: See the letter here posted on the home page of the town website: http://www.southbury-ct.org/controls/NewsFeed.aspx?FeedID=1099 But as republicans attack Ed Edelson for the incompetence and lack of ethics of the Southbury Zoning Commission chairman, Republican Gary Giroux they hypocritically violate zoning regulations concerning campaign signs.  According to Massoud's letter, signs in residential zones are limited to "1 sign 2 square feet (allowed for use as political sign, sec 10.7.3)".  That is the common 2ft x 1ft yard sign, not the monster in front of John and Shirley Michaels home, located in the historic district.   Then look at the illegal bunting and flag pennants, not to mention the more than 6 illegal signs posted at Republican Headquarters in Union Square. Hypocrites, liars and cheaters all. Where is the zoning enforcement officer and why isn't he doing his job? Political pressure?
