Masons’ Chili Cook-Off Raises Funds for Summer Camp

On Tuesday, February 25th, the brothers of King Solomon’s Lodge No. 7 held a chili cook off and raised funds to provide summer camp opportunities to local youth.  The event, titled Thunder on the Rock, was attended by members and people interested in learning about the fraternity and raised $250 to be donated to YMCA Camp Oakasha’s scholarship fund.  The fund provides camp sessions for families who cannot otherwise afford to participate.

The winner of this year’s cook off was Albin Weber with his “Catcher in the Rye Chili.”  The winning recipe can be viewed at www.kingsolomonslodge7.org.
