Halloween at the Plaza Still On for Wednesday

Event will take place from 4-7 p.m.

The Trick or Treat event at the Southbury Plaza scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Wednesday is still on.

The Southbury Plaza merchants have stocked up on their candy supplies and invite local children to the shopping center on Halloween to trick or treat at the plaza stores.

Participating stores will be denoted by a pumpkin sign on their door and will have candy for kids in costume 12 years and under.

Families are encouraged to start their rounds at The Southbury Music Studio, located next to the Plaza professional building, to pick up a free plaza treat bag to collect their candy in.

While they are here trick or treaters can drop off a food donation for the Southbury Food Bank in one of the large orange buckets located near Stop and Shop or next to McDonalds.

Southbury Patch will also have a tent set up in front of Stop and Shop with Patch merchandise to give away, so stop in and say hello!

Thank you for that advertisement cloaked in concern. Staples reward program stinks and is loadedRead More with loopholes. Further, their prices are already 10-20% higher than discount retailers, so the measly 5% discount is ridiculous. I live 2 miles from the Southbury Staples, but drive to Danbury Walmart or dollar stores to purchase items for my classroom.
