Here's Your Chance to Show Off Your Photos, Southbury

Whether you've got one photo to share or an entire album full, there's a spot for all of them on Patch!

Do you have a photo you captured around town that you're especially proud of? We want to see it! And we've made it super easy to show it off!

Check the upper right-hand corner of the site and make sure you're logged in. Once you've signed onto the site, head to our new photo blog.

At the top, click in the "Write a new post" box and you'll be on your way to uploading your photos. If you'd like, you can tell us a little about the photo and any special meaning it has to you.

The photo will be posted immediately to our homepage for everyone to see. You'll also have the chance to post your photo directly to your Facebook page, as well, if you'd like.

The photo blog is a great place to showcase your random shots from around town. However, if you're fond of snapping photos and want a spot all of your own to showcase your work, you can easily create your own photo blog on the site.

To start your own blog, check the upper right-hand corner of the site and make sure you're logged in. Once you've signed onto the site, head to our main blogging page where you can create a blog. You'll be asked three things: to name your blog, a short description of the blog and then to upload a thumbnail to appear on the account. Once you hit the create button, you'll be prompted to make your first blog post. It's easy, but if you have questions along the way, email jaimie.cura@patch.com.

So, whether you've got photos to share in our community photo album or pictures to fill your personal blog, Patch wants to see (and showcase to the community!) your talent.
