Scout Road Will Be Closed for About Three Weeks
The Southbury road will be closed beginning Oct. 16 for a construction project.
Heads up: A project to reconstruct a box culvert will close Scout Road beginning Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Work will take place near the intersection of Lee Farm Drive, according to an Oct. 15th message from the First Selectman's Office.
"Southbury Public Works estimates they will need about three weeks to complete the project," the message states. "It may be longer due to weather or unexpected delays."

Motorists can use Lakemere Road as an alternate route during construction.
