A team of AmeriCorps volunteers, deployed recently from Perry Point, MD in cooperation with Pomperaug Health District’s Medical Reserve Corps unit, teamed up with the Southbury Conservation Commission for an ambitious beautification project at Little York Park in Southbury.
The volunteers have been dividing their time between Woodbury, Southbury, and Oxford. Next on their list for trail remediation is the Audubon Bent of the River.
