If you're looking for a new friend, meet Smudge, a domestic short hair cat available for adoption from Southbury Animal Control.

Here's Smudge's description on Petfinder:

"Meet Smudge! This love-bug came to us a stray last October right before the big storm, and has been with us ever since. He is a sweet, loveable boy, and his favorite thing to do is cuddle with his people. If he is not laying on the desk "helping" with paperwork, he is hanging out in the office chair, or napping in his kitty-condo. He loves attention and he also begs for people-food. He is great with other cats and dogs, he is neutered, and the vet places him at approximately 6 years old. He is quite the couch potato and loves to snuggle and give "head butts". He is up to date on all his vaccines, and is leukemia/aids negative. To meet this sweetie, please contact Southbury Animal Control."

Please note: as much as we'd like to see Smudge find a home, please don't give pets as holiday gifts unless you know they'll be permanently welcomed and well taken care of in their new home!

Dont ignore the 32 dogs seized from a local hoarders residence ... Lets get custody of them so they can be released to foster homes waiting to rehabilitate them so they can go to loving forever homes
