The merchants of the Southbury Plaza will hold their annual Pumpkin Day Festival this year on Saturday, October 15th, with decorating set for 10AM to 2PM, (or while supplies last) outside the plaza Stop and Shop grocery store. There will be free refreshments and contests for children, and each child will go home with his or her own decorated pumpkin.
The plaza merchants are inviting local children back to the plaza on Halloween to trick or treat at the plaza stores.
This year the trick or treating will take place on Monday, October 31st from 4 to 7PM. Participating merchants will have candy for kids in costume 12 years and under.
