LEGO WORKSHOP

On Sunday, October 14 from Noon-3:00pm the Jewish Federation will host a LEGO® Building Workshop and pizza lunch at the Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus at 444 Main Street North, Southbury, CT 06488.

Stephen Schwartz AIA, architect and owner of Building Blocks Workshops will lead the community in the hands-on construction of a 400 square foot LEGO® model of the old city of Jerusalem using 60,000 LEGO® blocks. The event is a fun way to teach people of all ages about the architectural context and history of the city of Jerusalem.

The program is open to the public and all are welcome. Grandparents, parents and children are encouraged to come and build together. The program is for children 5 years and older. The cost is $5 per person with a $20 maximum charge per family.
