Presidential Politics: Behind the Scenes

On Sunday, October 21 from 10:00am to 12:00pm the Jewish Federation of Western CT, will host a Women’s Brunch.  Special keynote speaker Iris Burnett will give a presentation titled, “Presidential Politics: Behind the Scenes.”

Iris Burnett has played key roles in eight presidential campaigns, been political advisor to two presidents and many elected officials.  She also served as Chief of Staff at the United States Information Agency (USIA) the public diplomacy arm of the U.S. Government.  In this role, she helped to develop, global policy, conducted special negotiations and consultations with foreign governments and their U.S. embassies.  Ms. Burnett also served as the primary communication channel to the White House, the Cabinet, the Congress, the non-profit sector and other government agencies.
