Santa's House Event

On Saturday, December 4th, the Southbury Women's Club will be hosting a very special Santa's House event at Cornucopia at Oldfield Bed & Breakfast, located at 782 Main Street North in Southbury to benefit the Region 15 PTO Perpetual Fund.  The rooms at Cornucopia Bed & Breakfast will be festively decorated for Christmas, and children will have the opportunity to move from room to room to enjoy different holiday activities and entertainment.  The house will feature a holiday craft room, a story with Mrs. Claus and some reindeer games.  Families will also have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and have their photograph taken by professional photographer, Angela Hanlon.

Given the intimate nature of this event, advance reservations are required through the purchase of tickets for a one-hour time slot between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.  The cost of a ticket is $10 for the first child and $5 for each additional child in a family, with a maximum of $25 per family.  There is no charge for adults.  The ticket price includes the sitting fee for a professional photograph with Santa, children's entertainment, and candy canes and hot cocoa.  There will be other activities, including a holiday bake sale and wreath sale.  Tickets will be available for purchase starting November 13th by calling (203) 804-7313.  Space is limited, and those interested in visiting Santa's House are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.  Tickets are non-refundable and there will be no snow date.

All proceeds from the Santa's House event will be donated to the Region 15 PTO Perpetual Fund, a charitable organization that assists Southbury and Middlebury families who have a child in a Region 15 school and experience significant financial expenditures due to their child's life threatening and/or life altering medical condition.  If you cannot attend the Santa's House event, but are interested in contributing to the Perpetual Fund, please mail donations to Southbury Women's Club, P.O. Box 195, Southbury, CT 06488, Attn: Santa's House.
