Is There Too Much DIY in Your Wedding?

Are you a perfectionist? How crafty are you? Did you organize your Pinterest boards yet? Jennifer Giuliano shares her tips and tricks to make DIY weddings a little less stressful.

I know someone who made all her own wedding invitations. Then a year later, she made 150 more for a friend's wedding.

It's the DIY bandwagon, aka do-it-yourself, and it can be a great thing when it comes to weddings. But here's a question for you, via Jenn's Wedding Planning 101 blog on Southbury Patch:

But if the last work of art you created was the handprint Thanksgiving turkey in second grade, you may want to reconsider the 250 elaborate lace-and-glitter-paint Mason jar lantern project.

Check your costs. Will it really save a lot of money if you do it yourself?
