Local Man Writes Song for Sandy Hook Victims [Video]

Naugatuck musician Joe Ardito wanted to honor those lost in the tragic incident.

Someone shared this video by Naugatuck resident Joe Ardito, so we thought we'd share and ask him why he wrote it. Here is what he said:

"I wrote this song on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012. I was sitting in my room with my guitar, and I was looking at a picture that someone posted on Facebook of the victims. I felt horrible about what happened, so I wanted to do something for the families of this tragedy.

"I express myself through music a lot, so I thought I should put a song to peoples' feelings. I wanted to dedicate this song to all of the victims' families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy."
