Last Call For Boy Scout Christmas Tree Collection

The troop, who is sponsored by Southbury VFW Post 1607, uses the money raised from this event to help fund scouting programs throughout year.

Didn't get a chance to take down your Christmas tree yet? Like to wait until the Feast of the Epiphany and the Twelve Days of Christmas are over to officially end the festivities? Well, no worries! Southbury Boy Scout Troop 1607 will be cruising the town on Saturday, January 12 to pick up discarded Christmas trees from area residents. To reserve your tree pick up, simply call 203-707-1272 and leave a message.  All phone inquiries will receive a personal call confirming pick up and address.  Cost is $10 per tree.
