With so many local businesses still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, Patch is compiling a list of businesses that are open and serving the community. The Golden Button is open for business, Kate Gorman said via e-mail. People can charge their phones have hot chocolate or tea for free. Beginning this week, the shop will be closed on Monday and Tuesday and be open from Wednesday- Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and open on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
