Southbury Friendly’s Hosts Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser Today
20 percent of bill will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with voucher.
A fundraiser is planned for today, Tuesday Mar. 6 at the Southbury Friendly’s, 519 Heritage Rd. Southbury, benefiting the CT chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Those interested in participating can present a voucher before ordering and the restaurant will donate 20 percent of the bill’s total to the cause.
This effort is part of the annual Great Strides, a national walk that generates critical funds to support lifesaving cystic fibrosis research, education and care. Get your voucher by “friending” on Facebook “Southbury Great Strides” then print the voucher or they may be picked up at Southbury Country Florist in Union Square, 385 Main St. South Southbury.
