Guitar Hangar is Moving & Expanding in July!

The area’s premier guitar shop, Guitar Hangar, announced Wednesday the relocation and expansion of its store.

Currently, they operate out of a studio at 61 Candlewood Lake Road, but will be moving at the end of July to 270 Federal Road, Unite #7, on Route 7 in Brookfield, just north of Costco. The new 2,000 square foot music store will be located in the Brookfield Square Shopping Plaza.

Guitar Hangar is a boutique guitar store that stocks vintage, custom and hard to find guitars. It’s the guitar collector’s paradise. From a vintage to all major brands, guitar enthusiasts will find just what they’re looking for.

Guitar Hangar has affordable guitars for people of all skill levels and price ranges. They also stock plenty of gear for the working musician and offer set-ups and repair guitars, basses and other instruments and well as amps.

In addition to sales of guitars, basses, amps, ukuleles, mandolins, banjos, pro audio, band and orchestra instruments rentals and gear, Guitar Hangar also offers music instruction in guitar, bass, percussion and piano. Lessons for all ages and skill levels are taught with patience and professionalism by trained instructors.

Brookfield musician, recording engineer and producer Rick Tedesco has owned and operated Guitar Hangar for the last fifteen years. As he embarks upon a new space and new concept, he hopes to reach out to the Brookfield and Greater Danbury area as the go-to source for musicians of all ages and skill levels.

Guitar Hangar will announce their Grand Opening date shortly. In the meantime, they are holding a huge July Moving Sale and a July 4th lessons and guitar giveaway contest. Stop by the store to enter.
