Accused Thief Stole Credit Card From Fire Victim

Published reports say Raymond Page tried to use the fire victim's card to buy $300 worth of goods from a store.

An article in the Norwich Bulletin, attributed to the Waterbury Republican-American, said Raymond Page Jr., 37, tried to use a debit card owned by the late Lomer Johnson to purchase $300 worth of goods.

The article said Page stole the card about two weeks before Johnson died along with his wife and grandchildren in the fire in Stamford. Page was charged with credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card and larceny.
