“Home of the Brave” covers the events of 1937 when the people of Southbury stood up against the American Nazi movement who wanted to establish a training camp in Southbury.

“I think the resolve of the people of Southbury in 1937 is an important story that needs to be told to more people.  We have been surprised to find how few people in Southbury and beyond are aware of the actions taken in 1937.  At that time, they were front page news throughout the region.   The story has so many lessons that go beyond the events of 1937”, said First Selectman Ed Edelson.

Tickets may be reserved by calling the Town of Southbury Parks and Recreation Department at 203-262-0633.
