U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy spoke about why he believes changes are needed to gun laws in the United States following a press conference held by the organization Sandy Hook Promise Monday morning in Newtown.
The Democratic senator also responded to the National Rifle Association's recent comments that lawmakers will not pass a weapons ban.
