The left lane is closed on a stretch of road between exit 15 and exit 16 on I-84 East in Southbury for tree trimming Tuesday afternoon.
The closure is not causing any delays, but traffic is slowed in the immediate area.
Multiple ladder trucks, as well as a wood chipper and dump truck, are currently working on the trees in the wooded area between the highways.
