Snow Possible for Monday, Early Tuesday in Southbury
Potentially hazardous travel conditions and some accumulation are possible.
A hazardous weather outlook for parts of New Haven County is in effect and could result in hazardous travel conditions for today and tomorrow, Jan. 21 and 22, the National Weather Service reports.
A light snowfall event is forecast from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. Total snow amounts are forecast to range from one to four inches with the highest across eastern Long Island and southeast Connecticut. This would result in hazardous travel conditions.

- Monday, Jan. 21: A chance of snow showers after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28. Light and variable wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
- Monday Night: Snow showers likely, mainly before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
- Tuesday, Jan. 22: Mostly sunny, with a high near 23. Northwest wind 9 to 14 mph.
