The Town of Southbury released a video recapping the accomplishments, and occasional struggles, the town faced over the past 12 months.
The video highlights the towns many new additions, including the construction of the Southbury Community Garden at Settler's Park and T.J. Maxx’s move into the Southbury Plaza.
Accomplishments such as the Southbury Film Commission's creation of “Southbury Sunday Night at the Movies” and the new basketball courts installed at Community House Park were included.
The damage left behind and the recovery efforts of Hurricane Sandy in Southbury was also documented in the nearly 13 minute video.
