Southbury Roads Cleared, Sanded After Light Snowfall

Dusting of snow enough to bring out road crews.

It wasn’t a significant accumulation, but the light snowfall that rolled through Southbury last night was enough to get local and private plows out on the roadways.

Most roadways in town have been cleared and sanded and the minimal snow showers did not affect Region 15 school schedules or bus routes.

More snow is in the forecast this week, with the National Weather Service calling for a potential moderate accumulating snowfall Friday afternoon into Friday night.
