The Southbury Library's been busy all day, but not with residents checking out books.
There's been a steady stream of voters here, the town's 2nd Polling District, on Election Day.
As of early this afternoon, about 1,500 ballots had been cast, according to the Poll Moderator, who refused to provide her name.
Outside, candidates for office are greeting voters.
