Chocolate Carnival : The 6th Annual Chocolate Dinner

Benefiting the programs at The Audubon Center at Bent of the River

As the snow flies, so fly the birds to warmer climates and to the chocolate lands. In other words OUR birds are THEIR birds. The Bent’s Chocolate Dinner has emerged as a dynamic annual event in the Southbury community. This is a great opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors, support the Bent and learn more about exciting developments at the Southbury sanctuary all the while enjoying many locally sourced and creatively prepared foods.

Featuring an Inspired Creole Cuisine with dark chocolate accents of the Caribbean created by The Provender at New Morning. Explore a festive buffet from Crayfish Étouffée in Phyllo Cups to Chunky Chicken Gumbo, to All Fools Chocolate Cake with Purple, Yellow, Green Icing- the traditional colors of Mardi Gras. Enjoy three Connecticut vineyards: Hopkins of New Preston; Walker Road of Woodbury and White Silo of Sherman. The Connecticut Zydecats will set the tone with a hot mixture of Louisiana Cajun, Creole, blues and R&B-played throughout the evening. Wear a mask and be entered to win a prize!
