Community Tag Sale - June 4th - Reserve Your Spot

Community Tag Sale planned for June 4th

The Southbury Women's Club (SWC) is planning a Community Tag Sale for June 4th 2011. The event will be held in Southbury at Ballantine Park (located at the intersection of Old Field and Pine Hill Roads in Southbury) from 9AM - 3PM.

Spring clean and sell your stuff!  The club is currently taking applications to rent spots at the Tag Sale.  Single spots are available for a fee of $20 and are 10’ x 10’ in size.  You may also purchase two spots for $30.  Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis and will be available until May 26th or until sold out.   Please contact Trista at 917-816-0468 for more information or to rent a spot.  You can also go to www.southburywomensclub.org to download an application.

A Community Tag Sale provides shoppers with convenient tag sale shopping from multiple vendors all in one location.  Food and beverages will also be available for sale.

Tag Sale space rental proceeds will benefit charitable causes supported by the SWC.  In 2010, the club supported The Southbury Needy Fund, Fuel Bank and Food Bank, among others.  SWC also provides a scholarship to two graduating Southbury seniors each year.  In 2007, the club began providing camperships to local children who otherwise would not be able to attend summer camp.  The club also provides Southbury students in need with backpacks filled with school supplies each fall.  In 2010, over 75 filled backpacks were delivered to local families.
