Wine Tasting to Benefit The American Cancer Society Tribury Relay For Life

A wine tasting to benefit the Tribury Relay for Life of the American Cancer Society will be held at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, Thursday, April 28 from 6 to 8:30 pm. 

Jeff Raether of Lake Package (203)264-8891 has arranged a great lineup of wines, from 7 wine distributors, to taste, plus 2 distributors for beer.

We will also have food samples from:
Hen of the Woods, Southbury
Jordans / San Remos, Southbury/Woodbury
Elenni's Pizza Castle, Woodbury
The Bakery, Southbury
and The Heritage itself

A silent auction is also planned. There is still room for donations, call Jeff O’Sullivan at (203) 262-8134, with any questions or to arrange pick up for a donation.

Tickets are $30 a piece and can be purchased at the door or the places listed

The wine tasting is being held to help kick off awareness for the Tribury Relay for Life. This year it will be held at Long Meadow Elementary School May 21st -May 22nd, 2011

 In addition to the usual RELAY events, such as the survivor walk and the luminary ceremony, this year there will be a World Record attempt! Suzanne Finnegan, will be attempting to set the woman’s world record for most boards broken with one hand in one minute.
