Hope: A Year Later

A Columbine Survivor will share her reflections and reason for hope on the anniversary of the tragedy in Sandy Hook.

Calvary Chapel Southbury is pleased to announce that Columbine survivor, Crystal Woodman Miller, will be returning to speak at our church.  She visited us last year, shortly after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Crystal will be speaking at three services - 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 14 (childcare will be provided for ages 8 and up) as well as 9:00 and 11:00 AM on Sunday, December 15 (full children’s ministry will be provided).

She will reflect on her experience of grieving a year after the tragedy in Colorado and her reason for hope in the midst of difficulty.

All are invited to hear Crystal speak and while she is here, she is also going to make herself available to meet with those directly affected by the tragedy in Sandy Hook. She is in a unique position to offer comfort to those who had their lives so deeply altered last December.  Family members who would like to meet with her can make an appointment by emailing the church at calvary@calvarysouthbury.com.

We look forward to hearing what Crystal has to say and we are confident that her words will go a long way in healing our still-hurting community.
