Southbury will kick off the holiday season with the 16th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m on the Memorial Green.
In addition to the tree lighting, the event will also feature Santa’s runway, caroling, hot chocolate, and luminaries.
The fun will take place at 561 Main St. South, and admission is free.

The event is sponsored by the Southbury Parks and Recreation Department, Southbury Highway Department, Southbury Girl Scouts, Southbury Cub Scouts, Southbury Volunteer Fire Department, Knights of Columbus, H.H Stone, and Kim and Bob Phelan.
