Agreed. Frankly, though is the sale of a home really newsworthy ?? Or more likely its that there really isn't thing of substance locally to report on. How about reporting on what progress towns are making getting folks back to work or how about the achievements of our local young people ? Reports on a home sale(s) screams to me at least that The Patch is having difficulty finding items to report on and simply puts out fluff for the Patch audience.

Webster, I always read the articles on homes for sale. They are helpful to me as I use them to advise me of the possible worth of my own home.

to webster, home sales is just one of the topics covered by the patch; do not all news periodacles come with multiple sections. Your thought seems out of place. If you wish additional topics highlited, make a suggestion, not faulting a news media to cover topics in which you have no interest.

The Patch is a product of AOL and as such exists solely to generate revenue .This section is designed to catch the interest of local realtors and every time someone comments that is another impression which some advertiser is paying for. Ever notic how many comments the political arguments generate? That is why there re so many of those articles, Patch stirs the pot and rakes the dough!
