Southbury - Main Street Ballet presents the Nutcracker at Pomperaug High School in Southbury, CT.
Main Street Ballet of Woodbury is performing its annual Nutcracker this Saturday (7:00 pm) and Sunday (2:00 pm), December 8 and 9, at Pomperaug High School. It’s really a well-done show, with superb costumes and enthusiastic and talented non-professional local performers (and of course the music can’t be beat). The Ballet school includes children from pre-K through high school.
Local attorney Rick Richardson writes: "I have a special interest in letting you know of the event because my entire family is in it! Our daughters (ages 14, 11 and 10) have many roles – including Fritz on Sunday. My wife and I are adults in the party scene (I’m Herr Drosselmeyer, which is a lot of fun)."
