Gilbert J. Connolly, 89, of Southbury, formerly of Manhasset, NY, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12. He was the husband of Winifred (Dorgan) Connolly.
Mr. Connolly was born Oct. 28, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the Army National Guard and graduated from Hofstra University with a BA and an MBA. His greatest pleasure in life was his family.
In addition to his beloved wife of 45 years, Win, he leaves his loving daughters, Elizabeth McCartney and her husband, Robert, of Burlington, CT and Caroline Connolly of New York City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury, CT. No calling hours. Burial is private. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
The family would like to thank Dr. Charles McNair and Sue Wood for their excellent medical treatment.
