Nicholas Bianco, 71, of Heritage Village died peacefully on January 18, 2014.. He was the son of the late Anthony and Marie Bianco of Eastchester, N.Y.

He graduated from Mt Saint Michael Academy, attended Pace University and served in the U. S. Army. Nick enjoyed a successful career at IBM for 28 years. He was well liked and his co-workers were like his brothers. He was an honorable man with a great sense of humor. He sang with several bands, produced interesting art and was known for his magic shows.

Nick is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth (Fennessy) Bianco. He will be greatly missed by his two daughters and their husbands, Cheryl and Harry Duffy and Heather and Mark Tucci.. He adored his five grandchildren Nicholas, Adriana, and Emma Duffy, and Anthony and Alyssa Tucci. Nick loved his sisters Ginger Cesarini and Linda Simone and his cousin Ron Vitro. Nick will be missed by the large Fennessy clan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury, CT. Calling hours: Friday, Jan. 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the daily chapel of Sacred Heart Church. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
