Obituary: Pamela Warner

Pamela (Clarke) Warner dies at the age of 61.

Pamela (Clarke) Warner, of Southbury, formerly of Danbury, died on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012.  She was born in Danbury, March 20, 1950, a daughter of the late John Ward and Margaret (Kiernan) Clarke.

She attended St. Joseph’s School; Danbury High School-Class of 1968 and graduated from Norwalk Community College with an Associate’s in Nursing. She was a former Nurse’s Aide at the prior to her illness.

In early years, she enjoyed skydiving and bowling. She served as treasurer of the CT Chapter of the MS Society.  She was a member of St. Joseph Parish of Danbury and also attended of Southbury.

In addition to her husband, William C. Warner and her sons, David J. Warner and Kevin M. Warner, she is survived by two brothers, Robert Clarke of Lempster, NH and Jeffrey Clarke of Boynton Beach, FL; a sister, Doreen Clarke of Boynton Beach, FL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, U.S.M.C. Lance Cpl. John K. Clarke, a U.S. Marie killed in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Friday, March 2, 2012, from 5 pm to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at 11 am in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Danbury with the Rev. David W. Franklin, Parochial Vicar officiating.

Interment will take place in St. Peter Cemetery at the direction of the family.
