Mrs. Irene Flasko, 90, of Heritage Village, died Saturday, Nov. 23rd in St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the widow of Stephen A. Flasko.
Mrs. Flasko was born December 4, 1922, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Majar. She was a resident of Southbury for 27 years and volunteered at the Southbury Training School Thrift Shop for as many years.
She leaves one son, Stephen Flasko Jr. of Burlington, VT, one daughter, Gail Mullaney, and her husband Brian, of Fogelsville, PA and two grandchildren, Brian and Katherine Mullaney, both of Fogelsville, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Nov. 29th at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury. Callling hour: Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass in the daily chapel of the church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Southbury. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.
