Bringing the Symbol of Freedom in America to its Knees

I am too tired after being up all night monitoring, calling the Associated Press, the Humane Society, etc., messaging about the auction of branded horses, who are in fact wild horses, that was held yesterday, August 17, in Nevada to provide a comprehensive description. Nevada has the largest population of wild horses in the country. I refer you to the link at the end of this post. A TRO was granted for the unbranded wild horses, but not the branded ones, who were quickly snatched up by killer buyers with huge tractor trailers, headed for Mexico or Canada. My heart is breaking. The horses are rounded up with helicopters. Two orphan foals were in the pen, their mares killed in the craziness, horses had gashes, back injuries, etc. The Safe Act is stuck in committee so it did no good. Please call your Congress people and read this article and then act to prevent the unbranded horses from being bought by killer buyers as well if the August 21 hearing does not rule in our favor.
