Letter: Murphy Listens to Local Businesses

I first heard about Congressman Chris Murphy’s jobs tour last week, when he stopped in to a barbershop in Stamford. When I saw that he made another stop on this tour, I was very excited to hear that he had visited Leo’s Restaurant of Southbury.

Local places like this not only help the state economy, they also enrich our communities. He took the time to get a firsthand view of one of our state’s great eateries and listen to the local patrons.

It is so refreshing to see such support and attentiveness from a Congressman and hopefully, future Senator. As long as he keeps listening to local business owners and employees, Congressman Murphy will have my vote and will surely succeed in November.
