O'Neill Deserves ALL the Credit

To the Editor:

Since 1988 Representative Arthur O’Neill has represented the people of the 69th district. Throughout his 25 years in the General Assembly he has worked tirelessly to implement and utilize Southbury Training School in the best interests of the Community. I commend Arthur for his work and the people of Southbury should be extremely proud of him.

“Edelson said he first spoke with Malloy in 2006 about the importance of preserving the farmland. When they spoke again following Edelson’s appointment to Southbury’s top office in 2011 he said the Governor still remembered his commitment to the town and the training school. ”Southbury Patch

On a final note, I do not believe that Ed Edelson deserves any of the credit that was given to him when Governor Malloy signed the bill on Tuesday. Arthur has fought his entire career; Edelson has fought all of 5 years. Arthur deserves all of the credit. Congratulations Arthur and thank you for your continued work to make the 69th district a better place to live, raise a family, own a business and retire.

Regards,
