The Edelson "Snow Job"

Southbury lost another town truck this morning when it slid off of Lum Lot Road and into a ravine.  Details are still sketchy, but I've heard that the driver is okay.

Apparently, the truck slid off the road due to the ice buildup.

These trucks cost well over $100,000 each.

Maybe this will convince Edelson to drop the expensive yet ineffective treated salt approach - and go back to the tried and true "sand and salt" combo that's worked so well in New England for decades.  In reality, knowing how Edelson operates, he'll stick to his "environmentally friendly" salt routine until someone gets killed out there.

I also think it's high time that Tom Crowe be held accountable.  Maybe I'll launch a "Tom Crowe Must Go" petition?
