Accidents, Wrong Way Driving Leads to Multiple DUI’s
The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Colleen Zielinksi, 49, of Oxford, was charged with DUI and failure to drive to the right on Jan. 12 at approximately 4:50 p.m. after Southbury police observed her driving erratically and almost completely in the opposite lane of traffic on Southford Rd. in Southbury.
Zielinksi was released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan 23.

Antonio Contreras-Rivera, 41, of Waterbury, was charged with DUI and failure to drive in the proper lane on Jan. 13 at approximately 2:08 a.m. after state police observed his vehicle damaged from hitting the highway guardrail and parked in the right shoulder of I-84 east in Southbury.
Contreras-Rivera was released on $2,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan 30.
