Drunken Driver Asleep at the Pump, Jewelry Stolen From Heritage Village Condo

Drunken Driver Asleep at the Pump
Scott Arnold, 23, of Waterbury, was charged with DUI on Saturday, Oct. 13 at approximately 3:21 a.m.
According to police, officers were dispatched to PC Mobil, 1244 Strongtown Rd. in Southbury, for a report of an intoxicated driver. Callers reported the intoxicated driver came in to the station missing a front tire on his vehicle.

When police arrived at Mobil they found a Mazda parked at a gas station pump with Arnold passed out at the steering wheel. After a brief investigation Arnold was taken into custody.
Arnold was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Oct. 24.

Jewelry Stolen From Heritage Village Condo
Southbury Police are investigating the larceny of a tennis bracelet from a Heritage Village condo unit.
According to police, the exact date the bracelet was take is not known, but it is believed to have been stolen within the first two weeks of October.
