DUI Arrest, Car Fire In Southbury
The car fire briefly shut down Interstate 84 briefly Wednesday.
In two separate incidents this week in Southbury, State Police made a DUI bust and a car fire closed parts of Interstate 84 on Wednesday, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.
Wayne C. Cook, of Lee Farm Drive, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol after he lost control of his car on Lakeside Road and his vehicle ended up on the grass shoulder, the Republican-American reports.
Then on Wednesday a car fire closed Interstate 84 briefly around 4:30 p.m. near Exit 16, the Waterbury Republican-American reports.
