Hundreds Stolen from Victoria's Secret in Southbury

Southbury Clothing Store Reports Larceny

Southbury police are investigating a larceny that occurred at Victoria’s Secret in the Southbury Green on Friday, July 27 at approximately 6:32 p.m.

According to police reports, over $600 in merchandise was stolen from the store.

A similar larceny occurred last week in Fairfield when the theft of $870 worth of underwear from a Victoria's Secret on the Post Road was reported.

Weekend DWI on Rt. 67

David Yakobson, 26, of Middlebury, was charged with DWI and failure to drive to the right after Southbury police observed him driving erratically on Route 67 in Southbury on Saturday, July 28 at approximately 1:27 a.m.

Yakobson was released on $750 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on August 7.

Landlord-Tenant Dispute Leads to Infractions

An investigation into a landlord and tenant dispute led to infractions for Andrea Deldin, 34, of Southbury and Eileen Roberts, 59, of Southbury on Friday, July 27 at approximately 5:05 p.m.

According to police reports, both Deldin and Roberts were issued infractions for creating a public disturbance.
