Man Charged in Southbury Burglary, Rims Stolen From Vehicle

The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Southbury Police are investigating the larceny of a set of rims and tires from a residence on Fishrock Road in Southbury.

A small green pickup truck was observed leaving the area with the rims in the bed of the truck between 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Keith Pierce, 37, of Wallingford, was arrested on a warrant and charged with burglary on Nov. 24 at approximately 7:15 p.m.

According to police, the burglary charge stems from an incident in October 2012 at a residence on Watch Hill Rd. in Southbury.

Pierce was held and was schedule to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Nov. 26.

Seifuddin Abdul-wail, 35, of Trumbull, was charged with DUI and failure to drive in the proper lane on Dec. 2 at approximately 1:51 a.m. after State Police observed him driving erratically on I-84 West in Southbury.

Abdul-wail was released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 12.
